User accounts are manually approved by the website site administrators to help prevent the site from being flooded with SPAM. Because of this, instant access after registration is not possible. Typically you will get site access within 24 hours, sometimes much faster, depending on when we get the notification that you have registered. We're sorry for the inconvenience, but this has saved use from dealing with hundreds of SPAM registration attempts each week which flood the forums with SPAM for all manner of things.
Please use your real name when registering or something close to it, or add your name to your signature box, which you can do in the "Manage Your Website Settings section." We're a neighborhood of people and it would be helpful if we know who we are talking to when we meet and discuss things with each other in the site.

You may register more than one account per household, and registration allows you access to the forums, both private for members-only, and publicly-viable forum postings that all visitors can see. The Kingwood Events Calendar is also available to registered users for posting upcoming events, yard sales, sport registration dates or other events that are connected to a particular date and time.
